FY 10 EMPG Grant Program
This is the first time the EMPG Grant is being offered to Tribal Nations. The Recipient Subgrant Guide for Tribal Nations was mailed to the Tribes on Friday, May 28, 2010. The Tribal applications are due to Cal EMA by June 30, 2010. The Guidance and all the necessary forms (in Word format) are located below. Cal EMA has submitted the application to FEMA. The Local Guidance was released on March 22, 2010. Local applications are due to Cal EMA by May 14, 2010. Files for FY 05 and after must still be retained.
Files for FY 09 EMPG must be retained until July 1, 2014, unless an audit occurs. For further details regarding the “retention and access requirements for records” please refer to Title 44 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 13 § 13.42.
